Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of machinery. Ability of operating a forklift to move materials within a warehouse or distribution center. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining safety standards on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties
-Heavy order selecting and picking tasks, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
-Skillfully operate Trucks to move items, navigate narrow aisles, and access high storage areas.
-Build pallets with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that they are stable and secure for transport.
-On occasion, assist with put away tasks to optimize warehouse organization
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate site activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
- Experience as a Raymond Reach Truck Operator.
-Proficiency in operating Swing Reach Trucks and knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail.
-Flexibility to switch between order selecting and put away tasks as needed.
-Willingness to adhere to shift schedules and accommodate occasional overtime as required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
