Now seeking an Associate Designer to join a collaborative, fast-paced women's collection design team, supporting the Senior Designer in creating fresh, innovative collections for mid-tier retailers nationwide. This role is ideal for a highly organized, creative professional with strong technical skills and a passion for fashion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the development of seasonal concepts, trend boards, and curated color stories.
- Build detailed sketches, CADs, and garment illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Source materials, trims, and fabrics that bring design visions to life; liaise with vendors for approvals.
- Develop and maintain tech packs with precise measurements, specs, and construction details.
- Work closely with patternmakers and sample makers to refine designs and ensure quality prototypes.
- Provide clear feedback on samples, tracking revisions and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Partner with production and sales teams to align designs with market needs and brand identity.
- Organize design assets, including mood boards, samples, and digital files, for easy access and reference.
