Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
We have an opening for a CAD Technician in our Design Department working out of our Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse office.
What you'll be able to do :
- Create 3D CAD drawings from adjusted and coded survey data using the latest versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation In-Roads Survey V8.
- Read and understand the terminology and symbols used in survey notes, plans, and maps for use in developing design mapping.
- Accurately transfer information provided in numerical, written, sketched, or electronic format to design plan drawings.
- Understand and apply client CAD standards.
- Manage CAD computer files and understand CAD file interrelationships.
