Your Team & Role As an Associate Infrastructure Administration Engineer on the End User Experience Team, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, infrastructure developers and delivery professionals to provide support of IT Infrastructure Software with a focus on End User Platform. We are looking for someone with 1 to 5 years’ experience working with various DEX tools like Nexthink/Aternity. You will design, integrate, and maintain infrastructure solutions, select corporate platform standards based on cost, capability, and capacity requirements, integrate platforms into the corporate environment, and develops standards and controls which meet corporate security, stability, and reliability requirements to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services, and experiences to delight our customers! Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day · Device Management of modern workplace management tools such as Microsoft Intune for both mobile and Windows devices. · Device Management of Windows, MacOS, and mobile devices at a global scale. · Identify opportunities to automate functions that are currently manual and then code solutions to automate those functions. · Perform analysis and trending to identify areas of process improvement; lead continual improvement story creation/completion ·Apply infrastructure fundamentals regarding iOS, Android, Windows and Mac client OS, server operating systems, database, network and TCP/IP, and common communication protocols. •Create, code and support solutions to automate the creation, management, problem identification or decommissioning of Platform specific issues; remove technical impediments • Provide easily consumable services to software development teams to assist in the consumption of infrastructure solutions and partner to implement them • Accelerate application development by building patterns of infrastructure services that are consumed self-service, resilient, reliant and in accordance with Prudential standards • Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact and support the goals • Automate unit and integration test cases, solve problems, and add new value with automation • Develop corporate platform standards based on cost, capability, and capacity requirements to drive business value; document solutions to support the adoption of developed solutions • Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide input, coach team members, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day • Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables. • Apply infrastructure fundamentals to Windows/Mac operating systems • Use programming languages including but not limited to Python, Shell/Power scripting, and Ansible, CloudFormation and Terraform frameworks The Skills & Expertise You Bring • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields • Identify opportunities to provide input to the team with guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization • Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) • Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills Applied experience and/or expertise with several of the following: • Infrastructure Fundamentals: • Operating Systems Windows / Mac OS - File Permissions, Network Configuration, Services, Process Manipulation • Virtual Platform Support (VMware, Omnissa, AVD) • Digital Experience Tools (i.e. Nexthink, Aternity, etc..) • Automate/Streamline via coding various solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues. • Troubleshoot and Resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, and other platforms to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless user experience. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue identification and automation for resolutions. • Operationalization & Monitoring; ITIL, Change, Incident, Problem Management, Industry standard tooling • Understands the impact of the change in the environment on the platform, executed via manual/automated testing • Applies security best practices and understands impacts of developing secure solutions; Consumption of enterprise security services; Includes how Security is integrated in the Cloud, DevOps (DevSecOps), etc. • Dev Ops Tools & Practices: Awareness, understanding of DevOps automation tools, practices & capabilities (continuous integration & continuous delivery) . Understanding of a shared responsibility model in Operations. • Knowledge of Service Management tools: ServiceNow, Splunk, Dynatrace, Aternity, Elasticsearch • Basic understanding of technology stacks, Cloud Services, Software Development Lifecycle, Core Infrastructure components and interdependencies • Customer Service: Ability to help clients and/or customers resolve issues and ensure a positive experience • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. The salary range for this role is from $69,200.00 to $103,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
