What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Technician position at Prudential Overall Supply?
With 90 years of experience in the uniform and textile garment rental industries, Prudential Overall Supply takes pride in knowing we are a leader in our industry. Prudential Overall Supply is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Technician to work in our Distribution Center at our Cerritos, CA location. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for Document Control and Quality Assurance functions in a uniform laundry service provider facility.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Use of analytical tools (i.e.: calculator, etc).
- Ability to schedule daily workload with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Communicate with customers during visits or audits.
- Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and industry standards.
- Must be able to write reports, document and maintain data in the computer.
- Assists corporate Quality Assurance in the performance of Internal Audits of the Quality Management System.
- Assists corporate Quality Assurance during customer and third party audits.
- Coaches and trains other plant employees.
- Assist in the implementation of Quality System throughout the Distribution Center.
- Investigates non-conformance's and corrective actions. Perform root cause analyses and corrective actions as needed for product excursions.
- Attends monthly plant management reviews, risk management meetings, CAPA meetings, and supplier non-conformance report meetings.
Requirements:
Successful candidates should have skills as well as hands on experience in the following:
- Customer Service
- Communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
- Must have Either Quality Assurance Experience OR Minimum of AA Degree or completion of technical or vocational program with college or university coursework in programs
- Basic computer Skills
