In this role you would be contributing to the following:
Creating and enhancing current code base to add features and solutions that provide business value.
Providing operational support, research problems, leverage vendor support, and find solutions for code bugs in development pipelines.
Delivering code reviews, QA testing, and support for various projects as directed by senior developers.
Working with internal/external partners to deliver cross-functional and cross-team solutions that are compliant with all applicable Prudential standards.
Meeting with product team in daily scrum calls to discuss the overall progress of sprint goals and objectives.
Participating in end of sprint scrum review and retrospectives; demo solutions to the product team.
Working on an agile Scrum team in the development and maintenance of automation, orchestration, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code for the enterprise virtualization platform.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages – Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies – GIT, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management, Self-Service Catalogs, and APIs.
- Experience developing and leveraging APIs to create solutions that integrate with systems and services such as ServiceNow, Ansible, Jenkins, Apigee, Public Cloud Services, etc..
- Ability to develop within in an Agile framework to meet sprint objectives and deliver business outcomes.
- Strong relationship building and collaboration skills.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years' experience working on development projects from ideation to finished production product.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
