Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Enablement, this role will focus on leveraging data analytics to track communications impact across the enterprise, while helping inform and enhance strategy within a corporate affairs context.
The Data Insights Manager, Strategic Enablement will guide communications strategists in applying data-driven insights to their work and identifying innovative solutions to challenges. You will ensure data accuracy and identify opportunities to connect information to generate more meaningful insights.
Collaborating with colleagues across Strategic Enablement, the communications function and the wide company, you will extract actionable insights that transform data into strategic actions. This role may also support proprietary research initiatives and other complex intelligence efforts to enhance the impact of communications.
Location: Newark, NJ hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days/week in office).
What you can expect:
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategists across Prudential Communications and the broader enterprise to deliver data-driven insights that empower strategic decision-making.
  • Lead efforts in gathering and compiling metrics on external media, social and internal communications, extracting actionable insights using data analytic tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Conduct competitor landscape analysis to inform communications strategy through data insights.
  • Support the Director(s), Strategic Enablement by:
  • Preparing and updating analytics dashboards for tracking content metrics.
  • Executing research initiatives in partnership with external vendors.
  • Implementing new data tools and technologies to enhance strategic impact.
What you’ll need:
  • 5 years of professional experience with a focus on data analytics; communications experience is a plus.
  • Strong track record of leveraging data-based insights for strategic improvement and translating findings for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and predictive analytics.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a solutions mindset and ability to work in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

What we offer you:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $118,700.00 to $176,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
