What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Pruett's Pool and Spa?
Responsibilities include all aspects of retail-side activities requiring high levels of customer interaction and associated inventory/warehouse management and organization. Primary sales activities include greeting and assisting customers in person and on the phone in the selling of all products - including pool and spa chemicals, pool and spa maintenance equipment, spas, above ground pools and associated equipment - ability to use the cash register/software/cash drawer for making and documenting sales and maintaining the store and displays in a clean and organized condition and conducting water testing. Secondary sales activities include preparation of service orders and special orders, following up with customers and other retail activities. Primary inventory/warehouse activities include receiving and checking-in/stocking deliveries, ordering, shipping and receiving. Experience with driving a forklift is a plus. This position requires proficiency in use of computers and associated software used by the company and a clear driving record.
