Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at PruittHealth. As an Advanced Practice Healthcare Provider, you will work in collaboration with physicians, staff RNs, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive adult and geriatric admission history and physical exams.
- Demonstrate the ability to identify, diagnose, and document episodic, acute, and chronic diseases in adults.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and ancillary medical personnel as needed.
- Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and assess the medical necessity of ancillary services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree program or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in geriatric, adult, or family practice settings.
- Current and unrestricted RN and NP licensure, or PA licensure in the state of practice.
