Job Summary:
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Community Relations Representative. This role involves developing early and appropriate referrals by creating and sustaining business partnerships with referral sources to drive growth in our Hospice business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Buildding relationships with PruittHealth Hospice staff to ensure effective communication with referral sources
- Identifying key referring physicians, building the PruittHealth Hospice brand, and identifying opportunities to increase referral volume from these offices
- Identifying key referring personnel in hospitals, nursing homes, and managed care operations, along with opportunities to increase referral volume from these sources
- Managing a territory, conducting sales calls and presentations, and generating referrals by building long-term business relationships
Requirements:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with different disciplines in the healthcare field
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (primarily MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
- Comfortable with virtual working tools and videoconferencing software (Webex, Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams)
- Able to master additional professional software
- Participating in center/agency surveys (Licensure/JCAHO) and any subsequently required reports
- Honoring patients/residents' rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints
- Following established safety regulations, to include fire protection and prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
- Extensive relevant industry experience with two years of college or business school and/or equivalent combination of experience and training
Minimum Experience:
- Familiarity with healthcare landscape and sales processes
- Two-year experience in Healthcare Sales/Marketing, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
