PRx Performance is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of a broad range of fitness equipment with a strong reputation for quality and customer service. The Sales Manager is expected to help achieve growth and sales projections by successfully seeking out new business with new distributors. PRx is based in Fargo, North Dakota.
Position Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the commercial sales team, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with corporate clients. This role involves strategic planning, sales team management, and fostering long-term partnerships to achieve business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Market Growth
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational goals
- Build and execute go-to-market plans for new products, services, or target segments
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns that drive brand visibility and generate leads
- Proactively pursue and secure new leads and business opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company’s reach and competitive positioning
- Lead and manage B2B sales efforts across diverse brands and business segments driving growth through tailored solutions and market-focused initiatives
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitor status
Team Leadership & Client Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals to secure long-term partnerships
Sales Operations & Performance Analysis
- Develop and oversee sales budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Manage and optimize the use of CRM systems to ensure accurate data entry, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting
- Analyze sales metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership team
- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Hold sales team accountable for maintaining records in the CRM and meeting performance benchmarks
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- A 2 or 4 year degree in relevant field or in lieu of education, minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to drive the sales process with track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Working knowledge of CRM software and other sales tools
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions
- Ability to travel (approx. 10% or less)
