Description
PRYER Aerospace is hiring a Full Time Industrial Maintenance position. The first shift position is at our Tulsa location. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and routine repairs on production and plant equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of production equipment such as milling and Lathe machines, welders, CNC machines, presses and ovens, plumbing and environmental control systems.
- Work may include repairing faucets, drinking fountains, lavatory fixtures, charging air conditioners, changing filters, balancing air flow, and minor heating systems repair.
- Perform electrical maintenance and repair internal plant equipment or plant system.
- Perform carpentry or installation work.
- Make routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdown of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment. Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.
- Maintain, repair, overhaul, assemble, disassemble, install and dismantle machine tools.
- Maintain the mechanical and electrical systems in administrative office and production areas.
- Support the company and department business goals and objectives for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Attitude (QCDSA).
- Function as a team member and under minimal supervision.
- Be able to operate Manlift at a height of 30 feet, (with safety harness)
Qualifications
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance technician.
- Experience with 440 & 230 volt 3 phase electric, 220 & 115 volt 1 phase as well as hydraulic systems preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of troubleshooting motor controls using electrical schematics.
- Must be strong in all aspects of machine and facility maintenance.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Some light computer skills required.

- Legally able to work in the US
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Use proper Personal Protective Equipment when applicable
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to be fitted and wear respiratory equipment necessary to perform functions of the position.
