Senior Risk Consultant Opportunity at Our Firm.
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our property and casualty renewal programs. The ideal candidate will gather, summarize, and present renewal exposures, identifying areas of potential risk and recommending effective ways to control, reduce, or transfer risk through contract review and insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive policy analysis to identify and analyze areas of potential risk
- Compare estimated risks with company-established criteria, such as cost, legal requirements, and environmental factors
- Develop risk reduction approaches and assist in the claims process
- Work with lenders to obtain certificates of insurance and other pertinent documentation
- Educate clients and borrowers on risk management, transfer, market issues, and trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Risk Management
- 5 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience, preferably with construction experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance policy clauses and management liability coverage
- Working knowledge of construction risks, safety, loss prevention, and claims analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe)
- CRM, ARM, or CPCU designation a plus
