Position : Shipping Associate

Reports To : Logistics Manager via Shipping Team Leader

Position Description :

• Meet or exceed production goals as established for the shift worked.
• Maintain attendance as defined in current published employee handbook.
• Ensure all products meet requirements as defined by the Plant's Quality Management Systems.
• Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
• Compliance to all operating procedures.
• Accountable for final packaging of quality product. Understanding of the SAP operating system to a level that allows he / she to maintain transactional integrity in daily role
• Ability to obtain / retain forklift certification
• Work to maintain 5S / safety standards.
• Accurate loading of finished, packaged product.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.

Education :

Required : High School diploma or GED.

Experience :

Preferred : Ability to complete cross training OJT for Cutline Associate Position in a timely manner.

Experience in cable manufacturing or handling / packaging / loading of fiber optic cable.
