Brief Summary Of Primary Duties
- Regular and predictable attendance throughout the shift is an essential function of this position
- Ability to utilize SOP’s, TI’s, and CDA’s as resourse documents
- Ability to operate the vertical continuous vulcanization extruder, sealbox,welder,gears,take ups,payoffs, and printers
- Ability to understand the concept of the line and produce quality cable with minimal scrap
- Ability to completely and efficiently change machine from one product to another and maintain high efficiency
- Abide by all rules and procedures
- Treat all employees with respect
- Maintain clean work area
- Make safety first priority
- Report all safety incidents or issues immediately
- Any /All assigned tasks by supervisor
- Ability to preform mathematical calculations and measurements
- Substain a shop floor enviroment with operators helping each other
- On shop floor Maximo training
- On shop floor basic computer training –including but not limited to SAP, MDC, DCS
- Ability to utilize measuring equipment – including but not limited to OD tap. Calibers, micrometer, electronic measuring equipment
- Forklift Training
- High School/GED Diploma
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas
- Hearing Protection required in posted areas
