Team Overview And Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the NA Specialties Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Manager (OEM/OGP) is responsible for planning, scheduling, and working capital initiatives for select OEM & OGP plant(s). In this role you will work with plant Logistics and Operations to develop annual production goals, facilitate monthly forecasting targets, and drive execution tactics in support of the SIOP process. You will also collaborate with Procurement team members to ensure supply of critical raw materials and partner with Commercial associates to support sales volume and margin objectives.

Team Overview And Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Production, Demand Planning, & Inventory Management:
- Lead Supply Chain team emphasizing safety, performance, and development of a desirable team and personal work environment.
- Lead OEM plant Logistics teams in the development and execution of production schedules; output to align with customer demand while balancing working capital initiatives such as DIO (days inventory on-hand) and slow-moving inventory.
- Directly responsible for the monthly Forecast and S&OP (Sales & Operational Planning) processes following up in a daily basis to making sure the production is on track to achieve target.
- Partner with the Supply Chain Process and Local IT associates to launch and enhance new demand planning and capacity utilization tools.
- Implement supply chain strategies to reduce lead times and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales teams to manage order fulfillment and ensure OTD (on-time delivery) commitments are achieved.
- Work with HSE, Quality, Engineering and Production to emphasize safety, maximize production output, minimize material in WIP, and reduce scrap
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation in supply chain operations.
- Implement lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) strategies to minimize waste.
- Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply disruptions and price volatility in raw materials.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in supply chain management; wire and cable manufacturing, a related industry, and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of raw material sourcing (metals, polymers, insulation materials) and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and supply chain analytics tools.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
