Team Overview And Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planner (OEM/OGP/REN) is responsible for supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiencies, and judicious management of working capital (finished goods, work in process, and raw materials). In this position you will work closely with the Sales, Operations, Engineering, and the Industrial Specialty BU team to develop synergies in forecasting, production planning, reporting, and analysis to support manufacturing loading and capacity models.

Works out of a normal office environment with standard office equipment available. Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis. Travel < 10%. When necessary, you will be exposed to typical travel environment and surroundings.

Team Overview And Job Responsibilities

Who are we looking for?
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Plant Logistics Manager who is responsible for master scheduling, production planning, shop floor scheduling, and materials planning/purchasing to execute business priorities.
- Help facilitate, and for some product categories lead, the monthly Forecast and S&OP (Sales & Operational Planning) processes; following up in a daily basis to making sure the production is on track to achieve target.
- Act as bridging role between sales and manufacturing teams to manage priorities and changes in the production plan.
- Serve as customer facing point of contact with the commercial team on customer calls to appropriately align the backlog with customer requested dates.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager(s) and Supply Chain Data Integration Specialist to support and enhance SIOP, OEA, OTD, and critical HQ reporting.
- Update and publish lead times other KPI reporting tools; ensure plant operational days are up to date.
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to motivate, communicate, and influence cross functionally.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities that guide appropriate decision making.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong MS Office (Excel, Office, etc.) is essential.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with corporate support teams i.e, Distribution, Operations, Inside Sales, Finance, IT, etc.
- High-energy individual who demonstrates drive.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Purchasing or Planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, manufacturing or business administration preferred.
- Lean Enterprise and/or Six Sigma exposure and certification preferred.
- Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
