PS Companies is seeking an experienced PCU RN for an opening based in Wausau, WI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position.
Float Requirements : Float to all inpatient units as needed- will float to IMC and CTU units
Unit Info : 8 bed unit Background in observation units, or MS / Tele units. Ability to read and interpret strips is required. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance Patient Ratio 1 : 4
Observation unit. Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, Dehydration, pre and post-op Urology and GI, Drips ( Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin) Average stay up to 48 hrs. High amount of admissions and discharges
Requirements include, but are not limited to :
Active WI or Compact License.
3 years PCU experience
Travel experience a MUST
BLS (AHA) Certification
ACLS (AHA) Certification
NIH preferred
Ability to clear a drug screen / background check.
