PS Companies is seeking an experienced Med Surg Tele RN for an opening in Evansville, IN. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position.
Shift Requirement : 12hr Nights 6 : 30-7, can do 36 hrs if preferred
Skillset :
REQUIRED : NIHSS / dysphagia screen / strong neuro assessement skills. Tele / 12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), Intitate / titrate drips (Insulin, cardiac, Heparin, etc.), heart cath recovery (fem. & TR bands). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
PREFERRED : NG / PEG tubes, PIV insertion, Tikosyn doing, chest tubes.
Float Requirement : First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
Requirements include, but are not limited to :
Active IN or Compact License.
2 years Med Surg Tele experience
Experience at a trauma level 1 or 2 hospital
Travel experience
charge nurse experience preferred
Ability to clear a drug screen / background check.
BLS (AHA) Certification
ACLS (AHA) Certification
NIH Certification
