Since 1977, ProSmoker has been building smokers for all ranges of consumers. Today we offer a full range of smokehouses from 100 - 80,000lb capacity including BBQ, truck smokers, hand loaders, generators and more.
The Service Technician is responsible for performing on-site and in-house technical services, including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, providing high-quality customer service, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to company standards. The Service Technician will work closely with customers to resolve technical problems and ensure the continued operation and satisfaction with company products or services.
What you’ll do:
- Installations: Ensure all installations meet company guidelines and quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and service equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Repairs: Diagnose and repair technical issues, minimizing downtime.
- Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and resolve technical problems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, including work completed and parts used.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Training: Stay updated with new products and technologies through ongoing training.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
- Technical Support: Offer troubleshooting and technical support to customers and team members.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a technical service or maintenance role required
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or an associate degree in a related field (e.g., Electronics, HVAC, IT) is preferred.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment or systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and effectively to customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and accurately.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.37 - $20.97 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
