What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrichment Instructor position at PS Tutoring and Test Prep?
We are Planting Seeds Tutoring and Test Prep., a fast-growing company in the US. We have been operating since 2015, and we provide the best tutoring services to students from elementary to graduate students. Here at PSAS, we believe after-school enrichment opportunities can be incredibly powerful for all communities. We are currently looking for dedicated and energetic instructors and tutors for enrichment classes and school districts.
Don’t have classroom experience? Not a problem. We will be providing curriculum and training workshops on classroom management, setting expectations, and ways to build rapport for instructors who may need additional support.
This position may be best for folks looking for a supplemental income, as hours can range anywhere from 12-16 per week depending on scheduling and enrollment. We do have additional opportunities within the company to work as a tutor for in-person and/or online sessions. If this is something you’re interested in, please let us know. Job Duties:
- Facilitate group classes and assist students in targeted subject areas
- Contribute to a friendly and productive classroom environment
- Model and promote a growth mindset and encourage a collaborative learning environment
- Create and manage resources
- Commute to schools within area
- Meet regularly with the supervisor
- Host workshops on selected topics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, English, mathematics)
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or education is highly desirable.
- Patience and the ability to work with students of diverse learning styles.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to the needs of individual students.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
