Responsibilities
Position Summary
As a Maintenance Planner you will impact PSA Airlines’ growth by overseeing that the aircraft maintenance program tasks are executed, performed, and completed in an effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for monitoring, planning and scheduling aircraft maintenance requirements within the mid-range dates (8-30 days) of the maintenance plan.Job Responsibilities
- Review forecasted maintenance requirements and strategically build work packages that maximizes task yield, optimizes station capabilities and capacity, and provides full compliance with all maintenance requirements.
- Develop and maintain Fleet plans and schedules for work package visits that optimizes maintenance program and days between scheduled maintenance.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain the upcoming component-forecasting schedules to ensure component demand is met.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Operation Planners (MOPs for efficient scheduling of routed aircraft to accomplish work packages.
- Monitor and schedule all Deferred Maintenance Items (NEFs & DAIs).
- Make timely decisions on schedule changes to resolve conflicts between the aircraft maintenance schedule and the daily operational OH_MTX RON schedule.
- Level loading upcoming maintenance check requirements to ensuring maximizing the Maintenance Program.
- Utilize company computer systems for the routing and coordination of aircraft into assigned overnight stations.
- Work closely with Fleet Administration personnel in tracking and scheduling fault identified maintenance items, in addition to permanent and temporary repairs.
- Coordinate with internal, functional departments to ensure parts, material, tooling and manpower are available for the work to be scheduled.
- Ensure all specified policies, practices and procedures are complied with.
- Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs

Position Specifics
Qualifications
Required- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must have entry level to moderate computer knowledge with moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to speak/read/write in English
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US
- Two years’ experience in aircraft maintenance scheduling/planning/programs or relative field
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent military experience
- Three years of A&P experience and currently compliant with CRF 65 strongly preferred
- Post-secondary education in technical, vocational or academic fields of study

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Supervisor of Heavy Maintenance Planning.
Authorities: None.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position will not have Direct Reports.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.
