Senior Accountant, Global Consolidations and Reporting
The Senior Accountant, Global Consolidations and Reporting plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and transparency of the Company's financial statements and results of operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute monthly close process for several corporate entities, including recording journal entries, performing account analysis, uploading trial balance into consolidation platform.
- Execute the monthly management representation process with local controllers, regional finance directors and corporate finance team members by ensuring all assertions on the monthly financial statements are appropriate for the period and collected in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute Fx rates to global finance team to be used in global consolidation procedures.
- Administer the monthly variance analysis process to global entities, including preparing, distributing, receiving, and reviewing the variance files and discussions provided by the global finance team on the monthly results.
- Working with cross functional teams including Treasury and Financial Planning and Analysis team to understand the more significant P&L variance drivers to help drive conversation with leadership on monthly results, process standardization, improvements and efficiencies.
- Assist with the global consolidation process, including but not limited to:
- Reconciliations of lease accounting balances reported on the balance sheet and P&L to the global lease accounting software.
- Preparing global intercompany reports reconciling balances due to and due from BDP affiliated entities.
- Reconciling intercompany loan balances reported on the balance sheet with the loan schedule prepared by Corporate Treasury.
- Assist with preparing supporting files for footnotes disclosures under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in annual Audit Report.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting a must.
- 3 Years of either public accounting or private industry experience.
- Experience with international accounting and using multiple exchange rates in financial reporting is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications a must.
- Exposure to ERP and reporting systems (CPM/Oracle/FCCS) a plus.
- Ability to be a team player but also be able to operate independently.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be deadline oriented.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with other members of BDP Global Finance.

- Monday through Friday, hybrid work arrangement available.
