Plano Sports Authority (PSA) was formally established in 1970 and provides year-round recreational sports programs and camps for children and families throughout Collin County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide a fun, competitive experience in a safe and supportive environment. We have four buildings located in Plano, McKinney, and Murphy and serve nearly 100,000 patrons a year.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and communication skills, with the desire and ability to learn. Logic and reasoning are needed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Job Description:
· Process W2 and 1099 payroll bi-weekly with accuracy using Excel and payroll system.
· Manages the employee benefits programs including open enrollment process.
· Prepares payroll reports and provides information to management.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
· Provides administrative and bookkeeping assistance for the department.
· Critical thinking skills with ability to spot issues and bring to resolution.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong attention to detail and speed while working within tight deadlines.
· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience and Education:
· College courses or 2-year Associates preferred.
· High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required.
· Minimum of 3 years Payroll and Benefits experience
· PayCom payroll system experience a plus!
· Moderate skills with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, Lookup functions, etc.)
· Must be able to manage a high volume of transactions.
Wage Range: $22.00 to $25.00/hour dependent on experience
