NTU Advancement Mission

The University Advancement Office at Nanyang Technological University supports our giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, and corporations to drive goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research.

Key Responsibilities

Donor Engagement : Execute personalized communications and stewardship plans to engage donors effectively.
Event Management : Support the organization and execution of donor recognition events, ensuring exceptional experiences for participants.
Impact Reporting : Prepare and deliver detailed impact reports, track donor data, and ensure accurate reporting of donor activities.
Strategic Planning : Manage budgets and resources for stewardship activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.

Understanding of philanthropy as it relates to higher education.

Knowledge of good donor relationship management.

1-2 years' experience, preferably in higher education or a comparably complex organization. Candidates with no prior experience but with a keen interest in stewardship are welcome to apply.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent ability to innovate and deal with ambiguity and organizational sensitivity with tact and diplomacy; to be opportunistic, responsive, resourceful, and resilient.

Demonstrate an understanding of advancement work, as well as an understanding and appreciation of cultural and intercultural sensitivities.
