Senior Podiatrist Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Podiatrist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assesses and manages patients referred for podiatry, implementing appropriate treatment plans using specialized knowledge and skills.
  • Reports to the medical team and documents patient records accurately.
  • Charges patients correctly and updates individual performance statistics regularly.
  • Complies with clinical and service standards.
  • Supports the supervision of junior podiatrists in the workgroup.
  • PRACTICES WITHIN AREAS OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE AND SEEKS CLINICAL SUPPORT WHEN APPROPRIATE.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Collaborates with healthcare professionals and participates in case conferences.
  • Assists in preparing monthly performance reports for the workgroup.
  • Helps monitor key performance indicators (clinical / service quality, revenue, and productivity).
  • Co-leads clinical research projects related to the workgroup.
  • Prepares and regularly updates therapy equipment inventory for the workgroup.
  • Reviews and updates clinical protocols and SOPs.
  • Assists in managing assigned workgroup projects.
  • Co-leads departmental activities (e.g., Quality Control).
  • Develops, promotes, and markets new clinical services.
  • Assists in budgeting for the workgroup.
  • Develops and coordinates clinical education programs for attached students.
  • Inducts new podiatrists into the workgroup.
  • Contributes to departmental training programs, hospital talks, and external events.
  • Identifies staff training needs in the workgroup.
  • Nets strategically with healthcare practitioners in NUH.
  • Actively updates podiatry knowledge and skills.

    • Requirements :

  • Recognized degree in podiatry.
  • Postgraduate qualifications preferred in relevant specialties.
  • 4 years of experience in Singapore.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong supervisory and coaching abilities.
  • Service-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Result-driven.
  • Team player.
  • Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Excel / Word / Access / PPT)
