Your Role

The EHS Coordinator Intern will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our site. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn and grow in the life science industry.

• Develop reports and trends for execution and closure of EHS KPI’s.
• Update and improve hazard communication by gathering and uploading safety data sheets of our onsite chemicals for employee use.
• Participate in hazard assessments at the work place
• Participate in sustainability projects to reduce the amounts of waste, green house gases, and water consumption at the facility.
• Maintain accurate records of EHS-related activities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Additional responsibilities as required to contribute to the success of our EHS team.
  
  

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant technical degree program.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented.
• Basic understanding of facilities management principles is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
