Your Role
This is a 3-6 month W2 Temp position with potential FTE extension. We are hiring an experienced Facilities Engineer responsible for the maintenance and operation of facility systems, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Ensure all facility operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with facility systems to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of facility systems, including HVAC, AHU, electrical, and utilities.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and operation, providing technical guidance for automated machinery.
- Support PLC needs.
- Support the maintenance and operation of BMS / BAS to enhance efficiency and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Develop and review required technical documentation such as operating procedures, protocols, etc.
- Support compliance management, i.e. change controls, deviations, CAPA management, and engineering supplier qualifications.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and compliance of facility systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance facility efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline. 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries. Hands-on experience with a range of critical facility systems i.e. HVAC, Air Handling Units, etc. Expertise in regulatory requirements and compliance. Experienced with Building Management Systems and Building Automation Systems. Experienced troubleshooting, programming, and operating PLCs. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
