Your Role
We are hiring an experienced and motivated Project Engineer, responsible for executing engineering projects within the bio-pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical sectors. This role involves providing technical support for project design, implementation, process, commissioning, and validation activities, while effectively evaluating risks and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and execute capital engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams within the manufacturing site, ensuring requirements, schedule, and budgets align. Ensure project and process alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Conduct required risk assessment, effectively implementing mitigation strategies when needed.
- Develop and maintain project and process documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, reports, etc.
- Drive the successful completion of all required project deliverables, including process, equipment, and system design, investigations, and testing.
- Provide effective troubleshooting for associated manufacturing processes and systems.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring their work meets project specifications and standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project and process efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
- 2-5 years of experience in process and project engineering within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulatory requirements and standards (cGMP, FDA, etc.).
- Strong project management and process optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze project risks effectively and implement resolutions.
- Strong technical writing skills and understanding of full lifecycle documentation (protocols, reports, procedures, risk assessments, specifications and requirements, etc.)
- Proactive with strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with commitment to quality and compliance.
- Travel is required. At PSC Biotech, many of our projects and clients are located in various regions around the country. Therefore, we value candidates who are willing and able to travel as needed for project assignments and client engagements.
