BioTechnique is a sterile injectable full service CDMO providing cytotoxic and therapeutic sterile injectable fill-finish services.

From IND applications through commercial scale production, we provide formulation and compounding, fill-finish, and lyophilization services for a wide variety of liquid injectables.

Your Role

Facilities Maintenance Technicians play a crucial role in collaborating across departments to address facility-related needs and coordinate repairs, ensuring overall maintenance, functionality, and compliance for manufacturing production.

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment. Perform diagnostic testing to determine maintenance needs as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment (chillers, cooling towers, hot water boilers, steam boilers, large air handling units, and steam humidifier, etc.)
• Maintain and repair equipment for clean rooms.
• Assist with the maintenance of black and clean utilities.
• Support HVAC maintenance including HEPA installation and certification.
• Assist in the installation and provide technical guidance for automated machinery.
• Perform a variety of other skilled building maintenance tasks including repairs to doors, windows, and other building parts;

install and maintain grand master and electronic lock systems and electrical security systems.

• Support electrical wiring needs : Installs and repairs wiring, switches, light ballasts, and other electrical systems.
• Assist with Siemen’s PLC needs as required.
• Operate a variety of equipment, machines, and power tools; maintain tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and proper working condition.
• Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate facilities and maintenance tasks and requirements.
• Estimate cost of labor and materials for work orders; obtain competitive prices for equipment and supplies needed. Purchase tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.
• Maintain required documentation and records related to labor, materials, and work orders.
• Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent in a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in facilities maintenance or related technician role. Experience in a sterile injectable manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, and related manufacturing machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail oriented, with strong time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team.
• This role requires rotational one week per month, on-call responsibility.
• Must be able to work full-time, on-site, in York, PA.

Requirements

Technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent in a related field. 2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.

Experience in a sterile injectable manufacturing environment is a plus. Knowledge of electrical technology and tasks, HVAC systems, welding and / or other technical building maintenance fields.

Strong problem-solving skills and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organized and detail oriented, with strong time management skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team. This role requires rotational one week per month, on-call.

Must be able to work full-time, on-site, in York, PA.
