On Call / As Needed Dry Vac Skilled Labor for Industrial Outage Work
Wage: $26.00 per hour plus $150 Per Diem
Day Shift: 6am- 6pm (paid at 8 hours standard pay and 4 hours overtime pay
Overnight Shift: 6pm- 6am (paid at 1 ½ pay)
Part Time Position: 12 hour shifts; 6-8 shifts a month
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Reports to: Superintendent
Location: Lincoln, NE
PSC Construction is seeking an on call/as needed Skilled Laborer to dry vac for industrial outage work 4-6 shifts per month.
Job Description:
Safe operation of hand and power tools
Lift, carry, and move flexible tubing
Work in many climate changes within confined spaces
Load and unload building materials
Operate dry vac system
Requirements:
Mandatory background and drug screening
Mandatory Pulmonary testing and Respirator fitting after hired
Entry level experience in dry vac, underground utility, earthwork, and/or the civil construction industry
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
OSHA 10 or 30 a plus
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency is a must
Essential Functions:
- Frequently use hands and talk/hear
- Ability to see color
- Frequently lift, bend, stoop, climb, and jump
- Being near machinery and loud noises
- Changes in temperature
- Working regularly around dirt and dust
- Walk long distances and stand long periods of time
- English written and verbal communication skills
- Reasoning, math, and language
