PSC Couplings is a small, high performing team searching for a Mechanical Designer who is eager to learn and grow while being an active member of our team.
Position Summary
The Mechanical Designer is responsible for completing drawings used to manufacture components and assemble couplings. Role includes working in CAD (SolidWorks) to model and create detailed drawings and bills of materials for current and future products. This role will require the use of an ERP system for which training will be provided.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed mechanical drawings in SolidWorks
- Apply proper tolerancing per specification and manufacturing processes
- Manage product information in the ERP system
- Assist in builds and testing of products
Experience and Educational Requirements
- 1 year experience using Solidworks
- Technical degree preferred or experience that is related to the responsibilities
- General understanding of GD&T
- High degree of mechanical aptitude and hands-on product experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
