Rail Switching Operations Specialist

At PSC Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Rail Switching Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Rail Switching Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of railcars in, out, and around the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Examine track lists to spot, separate, load and/or build railcars for shipment
- Ensure railcars are properly connected and/or secured by setting the brake
- Separate loaded railcars that will be shipped from those that have been preloaded
- Weigh all inbound and outbound loads and empties to ensure weights do not exceed
- Complete any other duties assigned to complete the job
Requirements:
- Experience is a plus, but not required; paid on-the-job training is available
- May require a valid Driver's License and/or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
