PSC Group is seeking a Railroad Track Maintenance Technician to join our team! Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 Hour Day Shift
Pay Range : starting pay of $18.00 with room for advancement
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Repairs and rebuilds railroad tracks, using power and non-power hand tools
- Pull spikes from ties, drills holes through rails for insertion and fastening of bolts, and replaces ballast
- Operates large non-powered hand tools such as shovels, picks, axes, cutters, and sledgehammers
- Operates proper electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic hand tools such as drills, impact wrenches, jacks, power saws, and grinders
- Lifts and carries track material
- Assists with re-railing of derailed railcars
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
