Manage and oversee the entire scope of the office duties. Directly support plant operations and customers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Own relationship between customer demand and production planning.
- Monitor customer demand swings and implications on material ordering.
- Provide tools for successful Just-In-Time material ordering processes.
- Develop system to communicate readiness of shipments to Customer Service.
- Identify and complete improvement activities focused on the office and office/plant interactions.
- Compile weekly timecards and perform payroll prep.
- Maintain facility’s employee HR files.
- Code and pass facility’s invoices to Business Manager for approval.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Active engagement and strong understanding of the facility’s overall operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ensure that database is updated with all new parts and materials being sold
- Fully understand the various customers shipping process
- Generate shipping tickets for all shipments from the facility and send for invoicing
- Maintain files of all invoices that have been received.
- Forecast Raw material usage
- Place Purchase Orders with Suppliers
- Enter Receivers into database
- Schedule deliveries
- 3 years Customer Service or Logistics experience
- 2 years Experience in manufacturing environment
- Excel
- MRP and materials planning program.
- Associated Degree or equivalent work experience
- Promote an atmosphere of team work and ‘sense of urgency’ throughout all functions of the office.
- Strive for continuous improvement to personnel and procedures.
