The Recruiter Coordinator must have outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills as they must create a strategy to fill open positions. The Recruiter should be able to attract candidates using various sources like community resources, social media networks, and employee referrals to grow a strong talent pipeline. The Recruiter Coordinator will facilitate the movement of candidates through the recruitment process and be responsible for recruiting support including but not limited to managing the pre-employment process, posting open positions to job boards, applicant tracking, handling confidential candidate information, scheduling interviews across departments, creating offer letters, and conducting background checks. The Recruiter Coordinator works closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and the Talent Acquisition team at every stage of the recruiting process to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.

In this position, you will
- Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team by:
- Preparing recruitment materials and posting jobs to appropriate job boards, newspapers, colleges, etc.
- Assist with interview scheduling.
- Creating offer letters
- Monitoring background check statuses
- Processing candidates and new hires through the applicant tracking and onboarding systems.
- Documenting candidate conversations and activity for historical data and productivity reporting.
- Ensuring candidate statuses are updated appropriately.
- Working with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to send communications on first day expectations to new hires.
- Design and implement the recruiting strategy to fill assigned positions. This includes partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify and define specific recruiting needs, performing job and task analysis, documenting job requirements and objectives, and designing career paths. Use creative ways to source and attract candidates through various recruiting and sourcing tools.
- Review/screen candidate resumes and job applications and evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers to keep them informed throughout the selection process.
- Monitor and track open positions/requisitions. Accurately report on the status of filling positions; identify hiring barriers, and implement solutions to resolve, and escalate issues. Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the Talent Acquisition team.
- Create, iterate, and implement new recruiting processes based on feedback and recommendations from your cross-functional partners.
- Represent PSECU in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours. Create excitement around the PSECU brand and career opportunities.
