Job Summary
This position will support POWER’s business planning process. The position will primarily support a Power line of business. Areas of responsibility include creating and maintaining the annual plan (Online and Outage O&M). Support month end closing activities including journal entries, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis and reporting. Provide information and recommendations to clients that drive improved business results. The group works collaboratively with its Power clients, other areas of Power Finance and Accounting.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with the client to prepare and create the annual cost plan in SAP and PCM specifically focused on online and outage O&M costs.
- Support the month end, quarter end and year-end closing processes. These can include creating and maintaining journal entries, conducting actual vs plan variance analysis, creating ad hoc analysis.
- Preparation of reports or analysis specifically requested by the client
- Assist in analyzing results and identify areas of opportunities for efficiency and cost savings
- Communicate or present findings to management
Job Specific Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience; with Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
