Job Summary
PSEG seeks a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to support the Subsequent License Renewal Project for Hope Creek and Salem Generating Stations. This role requires technical expertise in licensing, power plant operations, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reviews of technical documents related to license renewal projects
- Support the Subsequent License Renewal project for both sites, including preparation of analyses, documentation, assessments, quality reviews, and supporting activities
- Provide support to the application process, including review or update of Aging Management Program documents
- Participate in benchmarking activities through industry assessments and interface with vendor/contractor subject matter experts
- Communicate and coordinate with Corporate and Station AMP owners to ensure successful project implementation
- Support procedure revisions implementing the subsequent license renewal application and perform other assigned duties as determined by the Engineering Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of Nuclear Power Plant experience
- Basic knowledge of licensing and power plant operations, with demonstrated project management skills including Microsoft product usage (Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
- Must meet Nuclear's requirements for Unescorted Site Access
- Desirable qualifications include working knowledge of NRC regulations and guidance that apply to licensing and license renewal of nuclear power plants, experience in nuclear power plant Engineering or Operations, and previous or current SRO certification
