Job Description
Develop documentation of processes, procedures, job aids, standards, guidelines, control plans for approved/chartered initiatives
Facilitate the development, documentation, and approval of processes, procedures, job aids, standards, guidelines, control plans for approved/chartered initiatives Support problem solving/analysis by utilizing the CE Way for improved performance and sustainability of the changes
Qualifications
Process Modeling (required and instrumental part of the job)
Technology (Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent Communication (Verbal and Written, Formal and Informal)
Technical Writing Facilitation & Negotiation (Planning, facilitating, documenting, and managing the business process development process)
Organization (Because we work across so many stakeholder groups, having an organized and professional approach to the work are very important to ensure effective use of time and to drive toward purposeful decisions)
Problem Solving/Analytical (a candidate should have already demonstrated capabilities in analysing complex business problems, investigating options, determining decision criteria, aligning with key stakeholders, and solving the issues. This is core to what this position will do day to day. Lean and/or Six Sigma experience desired)
Strong business acumen (this position only exists to support the other areas of the business, and it is important that the candidate can align technical and business requirements to business strategy and break through goals)
Investigation/Research (As part of problem solving and developing recommendations, it is very important not to rely on our own expertise and understanding, but to also seek out the best practices and opportunities that might help us deliver even more value. A candidate that has a strong industry network and/or desire to develop one would be very desirable)
Procedure writing, check equipment, procedure writing, writer, change management
Visio exp. Must have
Preferred but not Required:
Practical knowledge of work management processes (e.g., Initiate, Plan, Schedule/Dispatch, Execute Work, Close Out) and general process management; viewed as highly credible and knowledgeable in process
Sharepoint
Experience working in Lean/Toyota Production System environment
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Technical Communication, Professional Writing, or Technical
