Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong mechanical knowledge.
Duties include:
- MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50LBS
- Must have forklift experience
- Maintain vital shipping information in computer systems
- Properly label packages
- Note any special delivery instructions
- Box products for shipping
- Pull orders, stock shelves, operate forklift, pallet jacks, etc
Required experience:
- Forklift Experience
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or materials handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate an order picker safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is advantageous.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
