Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing product development, design, and manufacturing processes while ensuring engineering excellence, efficiency, and innovation. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a passion for problem-solving in polymer processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
- Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of polymer processing equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, and customer service, to ensure engineering solutions meet business and customer needs.
- Develop and implement engineering best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, process improvement, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Support new product development initiatives from concept to production.
- Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in polymer processing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Engineering experience in polymer processing, extrusion, or related industries preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in an engineering management or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.) and engineering analysis tools.
- Understanding of polymer materials, extrusion processes, and melt filtration systems preferred but not required.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
