Education/Experience Preference
Associates or Bachelor degree, (Business or Engineering) or equivalent education and experience in industrial sales.
1-3 years of experience in a similar position is preferred

Training program details
The technical nature of our product line will appeal to those who are problem solvers and/or mechanically inquisitive. You will become involved in the sale of equipment used to produce such items as plastic film, medical masks, adsorbent cloths, water & gas pipe, weather stripping, tape, plastic lumber, roofing shingles, adhesives, food packaging, and a host of others. The program includes:
- Onboarding logistics, introductions, infrastructure orientation (how and where to find things), Contact Record Management (CRM) training, introduction to Sales Tools.
- Assembly/Shop operations – hands-on
- Spare parts sales & support
- Machinery quoting
- Customer service
- Sales strategies and techniques
Tasks
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities
- Promote PSI competitive value proposition based on defined customer needs
- Provide commercial and technical support for existing user or prospective buyer inquires
- Maintain customer records using CRM software
- Keep daily record of calls and information requests sent, generate end of day activity report
- Follow up on previous projects
- Prepare sales trip proposals and trip reports
- Assist buyers in the selection and sizing of equipment after defining needs and specifications
- Prepare and submit commercial quotations
- Negotiate prices and/or terms
- Answer customer’s questions about products and availability
- Maintain quote log
- Develop and present product sales presentations in person or using video conferencing, Webinars, etc.
- Inform customers of delivery schedules/changes
- Provide customers with technical support
- Professional sales development – ongoing
Travel
- Ability to travel as may be required for training and eventual account coverage
- Time on the road – Occasional. foreseeably no more than 10%-20%
