The IT Test Analyst – POS Tester will join the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) as part of a high-performing quality assurance team. This role focuses on testing the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to ensure accurate translation of content into French and seamless integration with other systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing experience, particularly in POS systems, and fluency in French to validate system content effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Test Scenario and Test Case identification and creation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Test Scenarios and Test Cases (including steps and expected results).
- Identify and manage Test Data across test environments.
- Execute Functional Tests to validate POS system functionality and content translation.
- Document test execution results and defects using tools like HP ALM or similar test management systems.
- Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration-related defects.
- Perform preliminary troubleshooting of defects to facilitate timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers to ensure code conformance to requirements.
- Communicate issues, risks, and daily testing status to the Test Lead or Team Lead.
