Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Full Time, South Ridge Office)

Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
PSIMED, a leading behavioral health provider, is seeking a full-time psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide services at our South Ridge Office. Responsible for extending psychiatric services by providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment and psychotherapy to clients ages 5 to adult with mild to serious mental and emotional issues.
Requirements
Requires current Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state of West Virginia, valid and in good standing. Psychiatric certification a plus.
Prescriptive authority.
Must have experience which indicates knowledge of mental health services, diagnoses and treatment of major mental disorders and mental status techniques.
Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology especially pertaining to mental health.
MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK, CREDENTIALING AND DRUG SCREEN.
