Overview
26 hours per week with opportunities for more hours. Cleaning three buildings in Sharon.
Bldg 1: 1 hour after 5pm (M-F) 5 hpw
Bldg 2: 3 hours after 5pm (M-F) 15 hpw
Bldg 3: 3 hours after 5pm (T & F) 6 hpw
Pay is the 1st and 15th
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including both routine cleaning and specialized tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform general custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring proper sanitation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and safety protocols is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment for all facility users.
