We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in office spaces, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for employees and visitors. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in office areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols while using cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist with additional custodial duties as needed to support overall facility maintenance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
