The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for making sure that purchasing and inventory requests are completed in a timely manner. They are also responsible for assisting the supply chain and purchasing teams to reduce supplier lead times and material costs. Supply chain coordinators also work directly with buyers and upper management, as well as customer service, inventory control, finance, and production staff. Additionally, they communicate with outside suppliers and customers.
Primary Responsibilities may include the following:
· Manage plant keep fill programs, consignment programs, vending machines, if applicable
· Responsible for open and past due order resolution
· Support the quoting process for industrial material spot buys
· Follow up on open quotes with Customer
· Assist Customer on P-Cards orders and Communicate effectively with PSMI Purchasing Team, if applicable
· Identify, implement and track cost savings
· Support business growth optimize available spend
· Vendor/Customer problem resolution Shipping and receiving issues
· Assist in resolution of Accounts Receivable issues
· Analyze inventory levels and identify opportunities to reduce min/max levels
· Interface with customer and manufacturer’s with regards to procurement issues
· Monitor and resolve plant zero inventory pockets

o Crib Personnel
o Plant Management
o Plant Engineers
o Manufacturer Representative
· Special projects and other miscellaneous activities as requested by Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
o High School diploma or equivalent
o Associate or Bachelor’s degree (business-related) preferred
o 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications required (Word/Excel)
o Organized
o Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
