About being our Construction Management Intern
As our Construction Management Intern, you will be part of Psomas' Construction Management (CM) Group, while supporting specific assignments for the Bay Area Regional CM Team. This team specializes in managing the construction of heavy civil, public works infrastructure projects - primarily upgrades and expansions to wastewater / water treatment plants, recycled water facilities, pipelines, and pump stations. With the benefit of in person supervision, you will experience a collaborative team environment and gain hands-on, real-world experience to compliment your academic achievements. You will have the opportunity to practice what you are learning, while building upon your technical skills, abilities, and knowledge. You will support to the project team with project submittal reviews, taking photos of operations in progress, attending project meetings as requested, schedule reviews, project record keeping assistance, technical calculations, and other responsibilities of field personnel. Our CM staff work in the field on project sites; therefore candidates must reside locally and / or be able to make the daily commute.
- Project locations in the Bay Area will vary.
This opportunity is for a Summer internship with a flexible duration, tentatively May 2025 through August 2025; students who attend college locally may have the opportunity to extend their internship into the Fall on a part-time basis. Our CM Intern project assignments vary by client and may include exposure to a variety of civil, mechanical, electrical and structural elements.
