What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Shift Grill Operator position at PSP DBA Steak ‘n Shake?
The grill operator is responsible to execute a variety of duties ensuring Steakburgers and steakfranks are grilled correctly and served on toasted buns in a timely manner. Must also be responsible for maintaining and completing side work, as well as any and all tasks as assigned by a manager.
Must have reliable transportation (Consistent good attendance is required)
Clean, professional appearance is a MUST (Our kitchen is in view of our dining room)
Must be positive, enthusiastic, and upbeat!
Must not be afraid of hard work (The grill is VERY HOT!!!)
Must be able to perform at high sales volume.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Pay varies, based on performance and tenure. It is our goal that everyone moves forward
Must be able to work 1st shift between the hours of 9am to 5pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
