A Dynamics 365 data analyst is responsible for extracting, analysing, and interpreting data within the Dynamics 365 platform, using this information to generate actionable insights and reports that inform business decisions, often focusing on areas like sales performance, customer behaviour, and marketing campaign effectiveness, while utilizing tools like Power BI and SQL to manipulate and visualize the data effectively; key duties include data collection, data cleaning, statistical analysis, report creation, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify key metrics to track.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Extraction and Cleaning :
Accessing data from various Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service)
Identifying and addressing data quality issues, including duplicates and inconsistencies
Data transformation and manipulation to prepare it for analysis
Statistical Analysis :
Performing statistical analysis using appropriate techniques to identify trends and patterns within the data
Calculating key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to business objectives
Reporting and Visualization :
Developing comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI or other visualization tools
